We designed the logo for MA Yoga using soundwaves created by their CEO singing the word 'MA' as a tribute to their musically based yoga studio (we even made a video about it!). The logo's structure and design were created through a collaborative effort with the three owners to achieve something different and recognizable, with intention behind the imagery.
Video marketing has been a large part of MA Yoga's business model. They wanted to create yoga class and clinic treatment videos with high-quality production values. We created a process that was fast and simple to drive interest and creative connection to the brand.
The owners at MA Yoga wanted a high-quality, unique structure to their website design. We worked with the local photographer Kim Jay to find a beautiful stylistic approach using her photography throughout the website. Building a Wordpress website for strong SEO was a must, and we designed the site to be beautiful and functional for mobile and desktop. We also helped design and implement their online app.
We jumped at the chance to add our interior design flair to MA Yoga’s studio buildout in downtown Victoria BC. We helped design unique features such as: finding low-priced cedar for their acupuncture treatment room walls, and sourcing Shou Sugi Ban burned wood accent pieces in the lobby area and yoga studio flooring. We worked with our friends at Water & Wood designs to create handmade doors, desks, and a beautiful shelving piece to hold retail. We also helped pick out their furniture and fixtures with the help of Yanna King Designs.
